SILS Library’s 5th Annual Edible Books Contest
April 13, 2018 | 12:00 pm
Join us for the SILS Library’s 5th Annual Edible Books Contest on Friday, April 13 at the SILS Library!
How would you translate a book into an edible creation? Enter our contest by creating an edible ‘book’ inspired by a title in the SILS Library collection! The edible book can look like a book cover or interpret the book in another way. (See photos from past years here.) Creativity is encouraged!
Anyone from the UNC and Chapel Hill-Carrboro communities is cordially invited to participate. Entries should be dropped off at the SILS Library workroom in Manning Hall by 11:30 AM on Friday, April 13. Participants, attendees, and the guest judges will view and admire the entries until 1:30 PM. Following this, the entries will be available to eat!
Prizes will be awarded to one winning entry from each of the following categories:
Best in Show
Most Humorous
Best Entry Based on a Book for Children or Teens
People’s Choice (selected by popular vote!)
Submit your entry online here: http://goo.gl/Nr9Lna. We hope to see you there!
