Hi, all! I’m Ness, a first-year library science graduate student here at SILS. I’ve been a leader in my previous career in multiple capacities, from running a newsroom to taking strong roles on professional committees (such as the North Carolina Press Association’s Membership Services Committee). I’ve also been the chair of the Board of Children Ministries at my church. I’d love to continue the great work Jim and Melissa have done with COYL and continue to offer a mix of professional development, interesting activities, and learning opportunities for anyone interested in working with children and teens. I’d also like to increase collaboration among student organizations and with outside organizations.
