A little about me: I’m originally from Brooklyn, NY and I came to Chapel Hill two years ago where I completed my undergraduate degree in Economics at UNC. Currently, I’m a first year MSIS student. Also, I am a huge Harry Potter and Stranger Things fan (the 2nd season is amazing by the way!)
I’m excited to become webmaster for the Association for Information Science & Technology. It’s great that an organization like this exists so that students have a way to discuss topics like career development, get a chance to speak to professionals and even go on trips!
I have experience with the duties required of a webmaster – my current RA position and past org position as Director of Outreach at the Hispanic Transfer Association required that I send out emails to listservs, maintain social media accounts and keep rosters updated. I’m also very organized, have experience with HTML/CSS and have experience designing flyers and graphics for events.
I would enjoy being the webmaster for ASIS&T and hope to make it a great experience for everyone!
