Hello all! I’m Erin and I am a second semester MLS student focusing on digital libraries and user experience. I’m from central NC and received my BA in English from UNC, where I was a board member for several student organizations. I currently work at the Park Library in the School of Media and Journalism.
I believe strongly in Checked Out’s mission to foster social justice and diversity in ILS. If elected, I would like to continue partnering with campus organizations to sponsor events and speakers. I would like to Checked Out to offer opportunities for socializing, education, networking, and professional development related to its core ideals of inclusion, equity, social justice, and diversity.
