Hey everyone! I’m Cait, a first-year student in the library science program. Prior to grad school, I worked for three years in the nonprofit sector as a fundraiser and administrative professional. In these roles, I was responsible for lots of scheduling and event coordinating, which I think would be relevant to SCALA secretary responsibilities, such as coordinating the SCALA book sale, taking meeting minutes, and publicizing SCALA events. I would love to work with Amelia, Sarah, and Ness to help foster an inclusive, engaged field for young library professionals — thanks so much for your consideration!
